Financial responsibility summit
This afternoon, Monday Feb. 23, 2009, the White House convenes a session billed as a ‘fiscal responsibility summit’. The meeting will be attended by President Obama and about 130 lawmakers from both parties as well as business leaders and economists. Entitlements are being looked at as object for reduction with Social Security a chief target.
